When the second graders went to the Hawaii Nature Center, they went on a hike and they went fishing. They learned about biodiversity. There was only shrimp which is low biodiversity. The second graders saw a coffee tree. We saw some flowers and found bugs to put in capsules.The reason the second graders went was to make a note of the rain forest.
The second graders went to Bishop Museum on March 29. They watched a show about the constellations. The second graders, saw dinosaurs and did activities like a quiz. They also matched the dinosaurs to their body and time period. Another activity they did at the museum was that they learned how pollution affects a lot of animals. For example, a plastic bag may look like a jellyfish to a turtle.
