On Wednesday, February 22nd, 5th graders went to Camp Erdman. There were a lot of things at Camp Erdman like the Alpine Tower, Giant Swing, Swimming, Ga Ga Ball, free play, Archery, Group Challenges and a Campfire. The Alpine Tower was really scary but at the same time, fun. And if you make it to the top, it had a nice view. If you looked down then you might be scared. When we got to go swimming in the pool, everyone said that the water was cold. We got to use the toys that were there. For example kick boards and noodles. There were three sections of the pool. There was a 3 feet, 6 feet and a 11 feet section. There was also a diving board. If you want to go on the diving board or go in the deep end you had to take a 1 minute swim test. You had to swim to the other side with your head up or down and you had to tread water for 1 minute too. In archery, you got 4 arrows and an arm band. You will then have to have to try to hit the middle. In the giant swing, you would have to be hooked up to a string with a harness. They hook it onto you. And everybody that is waiting has to help to pull the person in the air. They can say how high or low you can go. And when you reached the height you wanted, you could let go of the red strap, and then you will swing. Furthermore, campfire was where all of the groups gather around the fire and do fun stuff. For example, we did skits, songs and charades.
